BRICK HOUSE VIDEO APPOINTS WES SIMPSON AS CHANNEL MANAGER FOR USA AND CANADA
Owslebury, Hampshire UK (6 August 2009) -- Brick House Video, manufacturer of award-winning compact and cost-effective equipment for production and post-production, is underscoring its commitment to the North American market with the appointment of Wes Simpson as Channel Manager for the US and Canada. Julian Hiorns, Brick House Video’s Managing Director, made the announcement from headquarters located in Owslebury, UK.
Simpson, of Telecom Product Consulting, has been active in the broadcast and telecommunications sectors for more than 30 years; for the past nine he has successfully run his own business as a strategic consultant in product management, business development and marketing. A published author of numerous technical articles and books, and a frequent industry lecturer, Simpson’s credentials include a degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering and an MBA in Marketing.
Based in Orange, Connecticut, Simpson’s responsibilities consist of supporting major accounts and enriching distribution channels for the Company’s expanding Callisto vision switcher series including the 3-input Callisto Micro that was introduced at NAB 09. The extraordinarily compact switcher appeals to broadcast facilities where space and weight are at a premium such as helicopters and mobile units.
"Wes’s outstanding industry knowledge and vast experience is a solid asset as we affirm our commitment to the North American market,” stated Hiorns. “He understands the benefits of our Callisto line and can convey the advantages of the range to our customers.”
