TYLER, Texas -- Azalea Orthopedics will hold its Grand Opening at their new Golden Road location on Thursday, August 6, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the Garden Level lobby. Mayor Barbara Bass will make a presentation and ribbon cutting set for 5:30 p.m. The public is welcome to join in the Grand Opening celebration at 3414 Golden Road, Tyler, Texas, behind Albertson’s on the Loop.
For the past eight months, Azalea Orthopedics has been in the process of expanding the Golden Road location to create a new Garden Level of physician offices and patient suites. "It is an exciting time for Azalea Orthopedics. We have been watching the expansion and transition occur and now we are ready to share it with our patients and friends,” said Matthew Jones, M.D., orthopedic surgeon and project manager for the group.
Azalea recently moved eight physician offices to the new location. “We have always had the strategic desire to have a location where the patients can have access to our entire medical staff under one roof,” said Azalea partner and orthopedic surgeon Jan Garrett, M.D. “Our hope now is to educate the public about the new location and invite everyone to join us August 6, as we celebrate the occasion.”
Azalea Orthopedics has 18 physicians, 16 of whom are orthopedic surgeons offering specialties including pediatrics, sports medicine, spine, hand and wrist, foot and ankle, back and neck, shoulder, and hip and knee. In addition, the Azalea practice includes two physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians who offer non-operative interventions and perform nerve testing.
