Linkus Enterprises, an authorized independent dealer of the DISH Network, has announced that DISH media content can now be uploaded and viewed on mobile multimedia equipment. This adds a whole new dimension of entertainment for users of portable media player.
DISH was founded by Charlie Ergen in 1996 as a service of C-band satellite television distributor EchoStar, specifically to market EchoStar's home satellite TV system. DISH was spun off from EchoStar in 2007, and now brings high-quality standard definition and HD satellite TV programs direct to approximately 13.6 million subscribers
This satellite TV network offers over 280 channels of prime TV programming, spanning a wide range of show types and topics as well as exclusive content. Linkus offers its clients the chance to be able to download and view DISH content straight from DVR receivers via portable multimedia players.
DISH customers using the company's ViP722, ViP622 and ViP612 DVR receivers can easily transfer recorded TV programming content to Archos 605 Wi-Fi and Archos 705 Wi-Fi multimedia players. These models can be purchased from Linkus, and require only a free DISH plug-in from Archos' website to be turned into mobile versions of client's own DISH-fed TVs.
