Technological Advancements Have Made Development Intiatives More Attributable In Impoverished Areas

Aug. 6, 2009 - PRLog -- Houston, TX (Press) – The Courteous Success Company of Houston Texas has developed a relationship with tribal leaders and governmental entities in a region of Africa called the ECOWAS. Together they are poised to introduce cutting edge technologies from the industrialized world into this impoverished region in a way that will help millennium challenge authorities realize their goals.
Technological advances are what have brought prosperity to the industrialized world. But the intended target of these technologies, and the prosperity they bring it, must advance as the technology advances or it will cause irreparable harm. Therefore the concept of Appropriate Technology Propagation has been modified by a group of entrepreneurs and introduced to the leaders in one of the most impoverished regions of the world, The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), and it is targeted to become revolutionary.
In Ghana West Africa, the coast line has been receding at an alarming rate for more than 50 years, consuming fertile land, whole communities, cemeteries and businesses. This same area is one of only two areas in the world that provide the most pure forms of natural sea salt using an ecologically friendly process of harvest called evaporative processing. The area is also a fishing community being of the coast of the Gulf of Guinea, and it has the potential to be a major port of call.
Utilizing this economic activity, the group has devised a way to assist the local government in the acquisition of appropriate coastal defense, while providing a means to alleviate the sanitation problem, creating debt service potential for the project and providing economic stimulation as well. This is only one of the many poverty alleviating proposals, developed over the last two years, the group has been involved with and is promoting to resolve the need.
In Sierra Leone the group was provided tours by the GTZ Company of Sierra Leone in 2007. GTZ is a joint venture of various impoverished country Governments and the Government of Germany. Its primary focus is to assist the urban areas alleviate the overcrowded conditions by stimulating economic development of entrepreneurial enterprises in the rural regions of the countries. It then assists the refugees from those rural regions relocate to their tribal locations and begins meaningful subsistence. Several projects stemmed from the working relationships that ensued. Strategic partnerships have emerged from these activities and several meaningful objectives, the nuts and bolts of such are on the table, are ready to be assembled and put into use. Partnerships such as the joint venture with the Eastern Clinic Rural Development Association of Sierra Leone could bring malaria treatment and food security to the region. A partnership with an undisclosed research and development firm from Florida could provide badly needed human resource treatment, by directing the region to use its natural resources to help the people through privatization of available assistance; these are huge steps toward counteracting corruption.
In Guinea and Mali the average income is less than the equivalent of 100 United States Dollars per month. The transportation and food processes in these countries are equivalent to what industrialized regions of the world had in the late 1800’s. Yet there is a natural resource that grows in the wild in this tropical zone that could be used to make gasoline, diesel, and other bio feedstock which could be consumed by the local economy or traded globally. This would provide jobs, stimulate the local economies, improve trade relations, and counteract the effects of global warming; we are actively promoting the development of these ideas.
The company has been using the resources at its disposal, which consists primarily of the director’s flexibility and dedication, but now more is needed to complete the initiatives that have developed. They need your help to continue the development of these ideas and help the local governments and leaders locate and secure investment dollars for the realization of these projects. Many financial resources are available to fund these activities, but they require the ground work be prepared and presented in palatable form. They are seeking donations and volunteers to assist in the preparation of these proposals, and to provide transportation and living expenses to present those prepared
