Sariska Tiger Reserve is another tiger terra firma protected under Project Tiger scheme. With Aravali Hills forming the backdrop, this stunning flora and fauna destination also offers a home to leopards, sambhar, chinkara and many other wild species. To visit this unbelievable Sariska National Park is the best August to February.

Located 40 km far away from Jaisalmer, Desert National Park has major role to play in maintaining the ecological balance of the state Rajasthan. It is the largest park in the colorful state Rajasthan scattering over an area of 3162 sq km. around one fifth of the park is covered with sand dunes and the rest of the landmass comprises craggy rocks, compact salt lakes bottoms, inter medial areas and fixed dunes. A variety of rare birds and wild-animals such as Hedgehog, Desert Cat, Chinkara, Bee Eaters, Larks, Shrikes, Harriers, Spotted Eagle, Towny Eagle etc.  

Other major wildlife sanctuaries in Rajasthan consist of Jaisamand Sanctuary, Kumbhalgarh Sanctuary, Desert National Sanctuary, Darrah Sanctuary, and many more.
