Report Highlights
In 2008, power grid enterprises established the idea of "group operation", which gave a boost to integrated application. It is necessary to get rid of separation between business systems, conduct information consolidation, comprehensive presentation and decision analysis, and provide total solutions for information consolidation and decision support for electric power enterprises.
State Grid presses ahead with the SG186 Project. Pilot projects for application systems were completed, small-scale application started. China Southern Power Grid has also sped up system integration, to press ahead with informatization in an orderly manner.
In the face of changes in competition and market as well as challenges, we release the 2008-2009 Annual Report on the Informatization Development of China's Power Grid Enterprises, which helps power grid enterprises, investors and industry insiders grasp more accurately laws governing Chinese power grid enterprises' informatization development, and probe the migration track of application value.
