During the 30 years' opening up and reform of China, informatization of banks has laid a solid foundation for rapid development of the banking industry in China. With the opening up and reform of finance in China, bank informatization has evolved rapidly, from the initial electronic banking, networking for transaction processing, highly concentration of data, e-banking origination to the overall deepening of bank informatization, which leaves a magnificent mark in the history of China's informatization development.
However, China's banking industry also encountered the unprecedented financial crisis in 2008, which brings it great challenges. With the impact of global financial crisis, what will China's banking informatization feature, and what are new changes, and what are puzzles and challenges? Confronted with the changing financial environment, how will China's future banking industry change its needs in informatization construction?
Against the background, we release the 2008-2009 Annual Report on the Informatization Development of China's Banking Industry.
