Each facility is 12,000 sq feet and is divided into 3 unique areas: The Health Club, The Day Spa and The Boutique.  The Health Club houses a full cardio and strength training area with flat screen TVs, along with The Group Fitness room that offers Spinning, Zumba, Yoga, Salsa, Hip-Hop classes and so much more. Art Stone - Total Woman Gym & Day Spa’s founder and visionary along with his wife Adrienne, opened their first full service women’s only health club in 1968 in West Los Angeles called World for Women and it was an instant success!  The idea originally came to Stone when he was the owner of the Kismet beauty salon chain in Los Angeles.  His primarily female clientele constantly spoke about wanting the pampering of an exclusive day spa as well as the results provided by what was known at the time as “fat farms”.  In addition, they wanted these facilities to be dedicated to women-only.
