HKNet Hosted Applications to Go Worldwide

PR Log (Press Release) – Aug 05, 2009 – HKNet, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), announced today that the company would extend the distribution of its hosted application services (SaaS) to the global market through NTT Communications’ business network worldwide.  TeamWorks Web Collaboration, SecureVault Online Backup and vIP-FileTransfer, developed by HKNet, would be offered as value-added services with NTT Com’s Global IP Network service at NTT Com’s subsidiaries as well as their partnered ISPs around the world.  Currently, NTT Communications’ business operations extend to 22 countries and regions across Asia, America, Europe, the Middle East and Oceania.  These hosted applications will be available in Asia in the first phase, and expansion into other regions is envisioned.  

TeamWorks Web Collaboration, SecureVault Online Backup and vIP-FileTransfer (Large Volume File Transmission) are HKNet’s major web-based applications for enterprise customers.  The on-demand and instant deployment features allow companies of any region, any size and any industry to be able to deploy these applications conveniently and efficiently.  The tie-in of these applications and NTT Com’s Global IP Network is a strategic endeavour to strengthen the distribution network of HKNet’s products and to enrich the service offerings of Global IP Network.
