Classic Artists Today© syndicated radio show will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Woodstock music festival during the entire month of August. The “CAT” will feature previously unreleased songs from bands and performers that played the Woodstock event.
Many of these artists have recently released “new” material. Classic Artists Today© will also be featuring numerous recent tracks from the same artists that played Woodstock 40 years ago. To round out the 1-hour weekly show, interviews will be aired featuring two of the performers at Woodstock. Johnny Winter and Gregg Rolie, who was singer and keyboardist for Santana.
Bands and performers that will be played throughout the month include: The Who, Santana, Joan Baez, Sly and the Family Stone, Janis Joplin with Big Brother and the Holding Company, Jefferson Airplane, Arlo Guthrie, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Mountain, Joe Cocker, Johnny Winter and many more.
Classic Artists Today© is heard 25 times a week on radio station affiliates located in the United States, United Kingdom and the Caribbean. All stations also simulcast via the World Wide Web.
