Teenage birthday party-planning sensation Victoria Jones never usually considered herself as ‘18th party planner guru’. Now however, only two years on, she shares how she plans to make her 18th birthday ideas accessible to teens around the world.
“Back in 2007, I never expected that I would have a career as a party planner for 18 year olds” Victoria recalls, “but it’s funny how time fly’s, now I spend most of my time looking through the countless emails I get from teens everywhere thanking me. It really is amazing”
So where did it all start? Well I guess you could say that it all started when Victoria turned 18. ‘I remember my 18th birthday; quite frankly I’d rather forget it! I had a terrible experience. That was one of the biggest regrets I’d ever had”
Apparently 67% of teens have no clue as to what to do for their 18th birthday. “When teens turn 18 they know that there is a whole new world of possibilities available to them,” Victoria say’s, “but the single biggest problem is by the time they find out the possibilities, it’s too late!’
So, what’s the big fuss? Well, she’s compiled all of her 18 year old party planning experience, ideas, tips and tricks into a new guide updated for 2009 for all teens to learn and enjoy for their 18th birthday. “I quickly realised that I was having trouble keeping up with the demand and helping everybody at once was near impossible, so I decided to make a complete no nonsense guide on ‘Things To Do On Your 18th Birthday’.
Victoria explains that people often overlook party planning and explains that there’s so much more that goes into it. Apart from what one might think her guide goes into much greater detail and also covers a number of important different subjects such as ‘Why You Need A Plan B, Where You Shouldn’t Waste Your Time Visiting and the essential Do’s And Don’ts On Your 18 Birthday’.
