The engineers and chemists at D-Rust-It introduce a powerful and easy-to-use RCx427 Rust Converter Primer that transforms rust (iron oxide) into a hard coating, stops further rusting and provides a positive barrier to oxygen and water. The RCx427 high-performance rust transformer now offers more than other rust converters in price, performance and safety. It is non-hazardous and safer to use than the flammable solvent-based formulations (xylene, toluene, etc.) and outperforms the acid based products (tannic or oxalic acids).
RCx427 Rust Converter Primer is the newest generation of rust transformers or converters. We formulate our product with a proprietary chemical that chemically transforms rust into a hard coating that works effectively on light to heavy rusted parts. Why use hazardous formulations and risk hurting your employees and environment?
Many of our competitors use antiquated tannic or oxalic acid based formulations and are not taking advantage of the newer and greener technology we use. Many of the acid based converters do not accept latex or acrylic topcoats; the converter may bleed or stain through and will show in your final coat.
RCx427 Rust Converter can be topcoated with most quality paints and are extremely easy-to-use. RCx427 applies like a latex paint; cleans up with water, non-hazardous and the primer dries in about 20-30 minutes. Only simple surface preparation is required; simply wash off the rusted areas using a non-caustic detergent, remove any loose rust and apply with brush, roller or spray. For rust bubbles or blisters, insure that you scrape off any blisters or rust bubbles back to the unrusted metal to ensure maximum performance.
