Earnshaw Books Publishes 'The Peace Correspondent'

Earnshaw Books, the Hong Kong-based publisher of books about Asian culture, past and present, announced the release of Garry Marchant's ‘The Peace Correspondent’.

Garry Marchant is a seasoned travel journalist and a self described ‘peace correspondent’. When he sets off to unfamiliar lands, his goal is not to report on conflicts, but rather celebrate the uniqueness of his subject and build connections with the locals. In his many travels, he has amassed a wealth of incredible, amusing and otherwise entertaining stories from his many visits to Asia throughout the years.

In ‘The Peace Correspondent’, Marchant visits everywhere from Mongolia to Indonesia and several points in between. He climbs mountains and crosses rivers, sleeps in tents, dines on snakes and mountain cats, and meets many a colorful characters along the way. Marchant’s passion for travel and gift for entertainingly relating unfamiliar locales is present throughout his many adventures.
