The students from the Paul Green School of Rock Music in Highwood are ready to do what they do so well: Rock! The Summer Shows kicked off in Evanston on Sunday August 2nd and will continue through the end of the month with Aerosmith on August 21st and 23rd and One Hit Wonders on August 28th and 29th. These amazing rock bands, consisting of students ranging in age from 7-17, are ready to get on stage! “Time really flies when these kids get rolling” commented Music Director Bryan Resendiz, “Summer shows are just fun…for the kids, teachers and most importantly the audience”.
Our students have been rehearsing since late June with Paul Bolger of Mr. Blotto as well as Gordon Patriarca and Bryan Resendiz who are not only music directors and teachers, but world renowned musicians.
