Tulsa, OK---Chinowth & Cohen Realtors training department recently began offering an Architectural Styles class created by Director of Professional Development Cindy Manchester. The class is designed to help Realtors discern the key elements of the most common architectural styles. It has been approved by the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission for a 3 hour continuing education credit.
The class originated after Manchester, who is also the Broker Sales Manager of the South Tulsa office, began to notice how many listings in the Tulsa MLS system are incorrectly described or had “other” to describe the architectural style. The class utilizes videos of architectural styles to visualize and study key elements, design, year built and location of home. All of which help realtors better understand how to market the listing on MLS and websites and provide a more accurate pricing strategy for the listing. Education on the architectural style also helps buyers in choosing a home.
As the Director of Professional Development at Chinowth & Cohen Realtors, Cindy Manchester, designs and facilitates the majority of CE classes and the Post license course for the company. “Cindy is always looking for new topics or ways to improve training of traditional topics.
