Reinforced Railway embankment with Rigid facing method was developed and researched by University of Tokyo, Japan and Japan Railway Technical Research Institute. Now, Seven States applied this method in southern Taiwan.
Stream rose due to typhoon taking a lot of heavy rain, the impact of stream flow erosion the original pier embankment. And the original surface of the slope protection was destroyed. When the river rose, peak flow great and fast with the brush out by the floods, some of earth and stone have been lost. Cause the basis of the original revetment and concrete wall of the back slope of earth were backfilled. If it used the original surface pattern for the rehabilitation, the backfill was not a solid construction;
Because the vast majority of the streams is for rock and stone, when peak flow took a large number of stone and rock easily hit revetment, RRR method it used to work together to build RC rigid wall out side of strong retaining wall to prevent the rock directly hit Geogrid.
Meanwhile, in order to protect the deformation and damage of slop; and the appearance consistent with the existing bank protection, landscaping and security are to take into account.

In streams near access to the sea or higher than groundwater when lowering the level of water is difficulty or reducing is almost impossible. It may consider to adopting PC –based way of playing pile as the basis wall of RRR. Above the groundwater table or in situ surface, method or grouting use single- mode wall to facilities for RRR
