The Prada Genesis
The 2009 Hyundai Genesis is a site to behold. Beautiful, sleek lines and muscular shoulders, innovative technology and superior engineering make this vehicle a work of art.
You would not assume that a luxury brand name as illustrious as Prada would join forces with a Korean budget car manufacturer. But this is exactly what has occurred as Hyundai tries to join the luxury car ranks. But this car will be auctioned off for charity's sake.
To further embellish their masterpiece, Hyundai partnered with the world renowned Prada Design Center of Italy. The Prada models feature matte metallic midnight blue paintwork and titanium metal parts. The shining chrome radiator grill, Hyundai emblem and outer handles were replaced with dark matte plated gold. 20-inch alloy wheels and alloy rims designed by Prada were also added to the Genesis. The interior received the Prada touch too. The dashboard and upholstery were upgraded with Prada’s signature “saffiano”
But don’t expect to see a Prada wearing Hyundai on any runways near you.
Only three Genesis Prada models have been created. Two of the vehicles will be auctioned off for charity and one will be kept by Hyundai for nostalgia’s sake.
