Serene Bath & Body, a North Carolina based personal care products company, has announced the release of their newest soap from their Persephone’s Wish organic product line- Pomegranate Citrus.
A recent study from the University of Michigan Medical School concluded that pomegranate seed oil was shown to stimulate keratinocyte proliferation-
in other words it was shown to promote the regeneration of skin cells. This oil has been shown to exhibit a remarkable ability to nourish, moisturize and improve skin elasticity. This oil can be effective in treating dry skin, eczema, and psoriasis. Its high polyphenol content makes it a strong antioxidant-
this means its helps protect skin from signs of aging. Additionally it contains conjugated fatty acids which give it strong anti-inflammatory properties. To this already remarkable soap Serene has added several all natural essential oils including organic vetiver oil which creates a calming effect, organic bay laurel essential oil which aids the lymphatic system, and organic lime essential oil which acts as an effective astringent.
To further their eco-friendly efforts, the bar soaps in the Persephone’s Wish line from Serene Bath & Body are wrapped in 100% PCW recycled paper printed with soy-based inks.
