Dee Hope, Founder and Managing Director of Diggory Lifestyle Management talks about why achieving a better balance between executives business and personal life is even more important today than it has ever been.
 
Aug. 3, 2009 - PRLog -- Warping time has been one of the great scientific conundrums, so it is astounding to think that a former Executive Assistant may have come up with the answer. Dee Hope, founder of Diggory Lifestyle Management, has come up with a way of transforming time for busy executives.

Diggory Lifestyle Management is a UK company focussed on making busy executive’s lives easier. Its personal approach of understanding the unique time management challenges of each client and creating bespoke solutions that recapture both personal and professional time, makes their services essential to anyone who feels that time has become a commodity that is in too short a supply.

Though Diggory Lifestyle Management was launched only recently, it has already attracted the interest of a number of clients. It seems Diggory’s expertise and passion for balancing a client’s hectic work schedule with a personal life away from the office struck a major chord.

Dee’s years of working with top-level executives gave her insight into the time pressures weighing on them every day. “I really got to see how stressful their lifestyle was,” she says. “The sacrifices they made of home and family life versus work and clients,” Dee says “More often than not, one had to give way to the other, so I asked myself why they could not have both – and started working out a way of making it possible”.

Dee did not simply rely on her own experiences. To fully empathise with her clients, she undertook in-depth research across a number of business areas and piece by piece, she was able to construct a variety of packages tai¬lored to different needs, such as the “Redeye” for the hardened road warrior. Others deal with, for example, the ‘Yellow Brick’ package which focuses’ on relieving clients of those tedious tasks that keep life ticking over smoothly at home. This was Dee’s goal - for consultants in start-up mode requiring PA support, for those on gardening leave replacing corporate support, or relocating to the UK, Diggory designed tailored programmes for them all.  

“This is the beauty of the Diggory approach,” says Dee. “It perfectly combines simple techniques with practical programmes and support services, adapted to each client.” Even those looking for self-improvement are catered for by the special Spectrum package. This unique onsite coaching session is ‘live’, shadowing clients during their day proving tools to help them control their lives through greater efficiency and delegation.   Dee is so confident in its effect, she promises “to give back to every executive one day a week”.

But for Dee, the key has always been about a better balance between executives business and personal life.   “The premise of Diggory is very simple. We want to make the lives of our client’s easier,” she says. “A Diggory client sends us their to-do-lists, whether domestic or corporate, and from then on, everyday tasks that once wore them down or dragged at their conscience becomes our responsibility - our clients focus on the big challenges and opportunities and we make sure they are efficient and effective, and supported to meet them head on”, says Dee.
