In answer to the question: “Why do we need another website?”, J. Keith Lomas, Group CEO commented, “we have received so many enquiries and requests for further information from patients, practitioners and distributors around the world which led us to design the new website to make it easier for people to find all the information they require in one easy to use site.”
The website contains a wealth of information on the irregular cornea conditions, the options for treatment as well as details on UltraVision’
s KeraSoft® range of products. Case studies can be downloaded covering the fitting methods used and some remarkable life changing experiences that KeraSoft® has brought to wearers around the world. Details of the new KeraSoft® Clinic in Mayfair, London are on the new website. Training can be given at the KeraSoft® Clinic in London and supporting materials are available and updated on the website on a regular basis.
“With the whole world being more and more internet savvy, we are finding that patients are becoming better informed every day and we have therefore designed the new website to provide wearers with the information they need to better understand their irregular cornea conditions and to help them approach their practitioner for a full professional consultation”
J. Keith Lomas continued, “UltraVision believes it is critical for all contact lens wearers to consult their contact lens professional for detailed assessment, fitting and follow up advice. By working closely with practitioners in the management of patients with keratoconus and irregular corneas, UltraVision continually feeds ideas into their innovative R&D team, which is constantly enhancing their high tech product range making sure it delivers the best possible results. The website is designed to support this approach and help both wearer and practitioner to make the best informed choice to manage the patient’s needs”.
KeraSoft®3 is being fitted by more and more practitioners around the world every day. The new KeraSoft® IC lens is also due to be released at the BLCA in Manchester May 29-31. This new lens appears to correct vision which was otherwise thought impossible before the advent of KeraSoft® IC.
Further details of the KeraSoft® range of products and all aspects of the KC area can be found at www.kerasoft.co.uk.
