From Servers to Speedos: Database management experts Xynomix to compete in charity triathlon

‘Team Xynomix’ will swim 400 metres, cycle 10 miles then run 5 kilometres in the fastest time possible on the 16th August 2009. They will compete against 345 other entrants of varying capabilities.

Says Xynomix triathlon participant and Sales Director, Stephen Wigglesworth: "The team and I are proud to represent Xynomix and hope to raise a significant amount of money to support the Multiple Sclerosis Trust. We try to do as much as we can to be a part of the local community and we are enjoying the opportunity to support a charity that will help people throughout the UK"

The team have been training for the triathlon for the past few months and hope to raise at least £1000 for their chosen charity.

Xynomix are an Oracle Certified Partner, specialising in the design and provision of bespoke support, monitoring and management solutions for Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.

Founded in 2002, the Nottingham-based company has operated from premises in Stapleford then Sandiacre for almost 8 years, providing Oracle and SQL Server management solutions to a client base that varies from large high street retail chains to government organisations to small organisations with just a few database users.
