Over 700 Attendees Head to Pasadena, CA for the Green Tech Connect Forum

Aug. 3, 2009 - PRLog -- PASADENA, CA —The Green Tech Connect Forum on August 3rd and 4th will feature a sold out exhibit hall and a roster of presenters from the leading venture capital firms in the nation. The host of the Forum, the South Coast Air Quality Management District, recruited Three Squares Inc. to intensify both the public interest in the Forum and encourage active participation from the venture capital community. The South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD) is the chief air pollution control agency for greater Los Angeles and the Inland Empire, one of the nation’s smoggiest regions.  While working toward its goals of cleaner air for future generations, the District is driven by its commitment to respecting the composite of its jurisdiction: both the business community and its consumer base.  The AQMD has crafted a landmark Air Quality Management Plan to carry out its strategy of emissions reduction in such a densely smoggy area.  Its results are undeniable; the current maximum levels of ozone within the District’s jurisdiction are less than one-third of 1950s levels.  Such an accomplishment provides a roadmap for fellow air quality watchdog groups to provide real, measurable results.
