Aug. 2, 2009 - PRLog -- Rescue Riders of Texas participate in motorcycle rides and rally's to provide emergency first aid and care to bikers injured during the rides. No, they do not replace the local ambulance companies or fire departments. Rather, they supplement these agency's by providing much needed First Responder care until more advanced care can arrive. Thereby giving a much better outcome to injured rider.

The help does not stop there. The Rescue Riders of Texas also provides assistance to anyone that needs it, including all those attending motorcycle related events. Many of our riders work directly with their local emergency services organizations, and some prefer to "ride alone".

We need more volunteers to assist us with this worthy cause. If you ride a motorcycle and enjoy helping others, you are needed.
You need not be a Paramedic, or highly skilled to join. If you are CPR certified, and have first aid training. You can help.
Training available in most areas. Supplies available on our web site.

No, you wont be paid for your help, nor are you required to put in a certain number of hours, or attend specified events. But if you love to ride, and to help out your fellow man, this just might be for you.

To volunteer, please see our web site: http://www.rescueriders.org/
