VPS Lime LLC announces that they are replacing all of the custom hardware servers with HP Proliant G5 and higher enterprise quality servers.
"HP will give us a definite advantage over 75% of the other VPS related hosting companies because most of them try to get by 'cheap' to turn a profit." says the owner of VPS Lime LLC. "In the end, their customers pay for the performance sacrifice by going down the cheap route."
By Q1 of 2010, VPS Lime LLC expects to have a full HP Proliant multi-server rack setup along with a high performance SAN array as the backend storage. This will allow them to compete with such providers as Amazon S3 for storage.
"We feel our position is stronger than Amazon's due to our VPS is all-inclusive. You don't have to worry about purchasing EC2 and S3 backend & use odd tools to administer your servers. With VPS Lime LLC, you buy a VPS and everything just works - along with all the tools you have used in the past. No need to completely re-architect your software or learn something new"
With prices starting at $9.99 for a 20gig VPS - they are a hard bargain to beat.
