Hot Stepz Magazine "The Soul of Dance, Music and Fashion" is helping raise funds for a neighborhood summer and after school program in Boston. The HYPE Program which stands for Humboldt Youth Partnering for Empowerment is headed by Deborah Shariff a well known Independent filmmaker who was also a screen writing Instructor for Billy Bob Thornton author of Sling Blade and Monster's Ball. Ms. Shariff a former College Professor and Talk Show host of the Public Television show Urban Empowerment stated That The Humboldt Street program is something she hopes will turn the tide of violence to one of enrichment and understanding between adults and teenagers. Hot Stepz Magazine is providing the talent and special guests expected to arrive include Akon's discovery Reggae Star Diamond Plus, Tween Heartthrob Universal Records Breje' and Soul stirring singer Cleveland Jones backed by the 6 man Hot Stepz Band! Also appearing are local Boston favorites Loyalty and Trae Dana AKA T-ROSE, Invited were Rowdy Records Hopeful Shea Rose who is in Atlanta but may make a surprise appearance to greet fans and sign autographs!
