PRLog (Press Release) - Jul 31, 2009 -
As we celebrate Emmy Awards 61st anniversary in 2009, brides from across the world are getting inspiration for their bridal and bridesmaid jewelry. GlamForLess (http://www.glamforless.com/) – a leading source for  bridal and bridesmaid jewelry,  wedding jewelry trends will include chandelier earrings,  hoop earrings, and eye-catching cuff bracelets.

Chandelier Earrings
Black was the color of choice on the red carpet, and was most often accessorized with dazzling diamonds. NBC anchor Katie Couric sported a pair of nearly shoulder-length drop earrings, while both Will & Grace's Debra Messing and Malcolm in the Middle's Jane Kaczmarek chose briolette chandelier earrings. On an opposing end of the color palette, fire engine-red was worn by nominees including Sex and the City's Cynthia Nixon and The West Wing's Allison Janney. Both women, wearing strapless gowns, accessorized with yellow gold jewelry including multiple bangle bracelets.

Hoop Earrings
Oversized hoop earrings are still a Hollywood trend, as seen on both Friends' Lisa Kudrow and Nixon. In men's fashions, the skinny suit and tie has eclipsed the traditional bow-tie tuxedo as the way to impress the paparazzi. One hope for jewelers: The Daily Show's Jon Stewart's last minute "Hefty bag twist tie" cufflinks won't become red carpet de rigeur.

Cuff Bracelets
Leading the diamond hit parade were cuff bracelets and chandelier earrings. Standouts included: Nicole Kidman, in one-of-a-kind diamond cuff bracelet featuring 187 rough diamonds totaling 375 carats from designer L'Wren Scott and manufacturer William Goldberg; and Gwyneth Paltrow, in diamond cuffs, diamond cuff bracelets and rose-cut-diamond chandelier earrings by Fred Leighton. Many starlets skipped the necklaces and focused on their wrists, as diamond cuff bracelets were among the most jewelry popular trends. Diamond cuff bracelets and stackable bracelets were worn by Anne Hathaway, in three diamond bracelets by Van Cleef and Arpels; Emily Blunt, in a black- and white-diamond cuff by H. Stern; Best Actress nominee Penelope Cruz, in a yellow- and white-diamond flower bracelet by Chopard; and last year's Best Actress winner, Reese Witherspoon, in a diamond cuff bracelet by Van Cleef and Arpels.

Diamond earrings
In addition to getting their hair and makeup right, many finished off their look with diamond earrings. That included Best Actress winner, Helen Mirren, in pear-shaped-diamond cluster earrings by Chopard; Best Actress nominee Kate Winslet, in 54-carat pear-shaped yellow-diamond cluster earrings by Chopard; and Jennifer Lopez, in 20-carat gray- and champagne-diamond earrings with rose-cut peach-diamond drops, by Lorraine Schwartz, valued at $280,000.

If you're looking for a great gift for your bridesmaids, then consider bridal jewelry gift sets, which are a great value. And don't forget your sweet flower girl – she needs jewelry too.
