Those who believe that the recession is coming to an end may just be in for a shock. While ‘experts’ and the media try to cushion the blow of how bad the economy really is, I intend to show just how untrue the claims remain. This is not intended to scare people even further, but we can’t help prevent a total depression if the media is feeding us misinformation to make things seem better than the truly are.
In may of 2009, according to the Department of Labor, there were over 460,000 job losses across this great nation of ours. In some areas like Toledo, Ohio where the local economy depended on auto manufacturing, things are a little worse than others. There has only been a few times in recent history where job loss has been so great. First was the Great Depression, then there was the oil crisis of the 1970’s. Later was the dot.com collapse of the early 2000’s and the housing slump of the mid 2000’s. Not we are facing a total collapse of the auto industry in the United States and that poses the biggest threat of all.
True things have been pretty bad for the past eight years and economists are trying to say things are getting better. It’s funny how that can be said with a straight face. First of all, with the Dot.com collapse and the housing markets failure, each is a supplemental industry. That means that the jobs lost there were jobs created originally because life was good and people had ‘extra’ money to spend. With the collapse of the auto industry, we have a whole new monster all together.
According to the Department of Labor, auto manufacturing jobs support five other supporting jobs in our economy. Imagine if you will that auto workers are among the best paid workers in America. Simple fact is they spend the most money as well. So now that we are loosing auto manufacturing jobs by the hundreds of thousands where do you think that is going to leave those jobs that are supported by those incomes? You guessed right if you said that this can only lead to MILLIONS of jobs lost in the near future.
I am a vicitm of those job losses and as I said, my local economy was dependent on the auto industry. So I decided to do what I can both to survive and to help those out who are suffering like myself and my family. I have launched a website that is dedicated to saving people money on their retail purchases. My site titled www.mycashrewardsmall.com has over 80 retail outlets including big names like Wal-Mart, Best Buy and Meijer. These partners offer from 10% to 70% off retail to help ease the burden on American consumers. My Cash Rewards Mall receives commissions for every sale through its links and gives 50% of those commissions back to the consumer. As an incentive for people to help out their friends and family the site also offers a 25% commission bonus, from their purchases, for those who refer friends to the site. So help fight against the recession with us and save money for yourself, family and friends.
