People can enjoy the sound of Swansea’s finest bands, take a guided tour or even learn about the wonderful variety of birds and wildlife that inhabit the gardens.
For those who need guidance on garden design or growing their own vegetables there will be a series of workshops and demonstrations. Furthermore, devoted horticulturalists will be sure to find something to complement their garden at the weekly plant sales.
Children will also have something to enjoy during the month long festival with exciting stories, captivating clown and magic shows and imaginative art workshops.
City & County of Swansea’s Specialist Parks Development Manager Steve Hopkins is hoping for another successful series of events, “The gardens are spectacular all year round with August being the ideal time to really appreciate them in all their colourful splendour. There is really is something for everyone to experience and enjoy."
Throughout the festival the four large marquees will also be available to hire by charities and businesses for their very own 'garden party' or fundraising/
Singleton Botanical Gardens are open all year round and admission is free. Coach and group visits are welcome by prior arrangement.
