Cyan Nails Colours to Future's Mast

July 30, 2009 - PRLog -- Future Electronics has signed up to be the first global demand creation distributor for the UK-based fabless semiconductor outfit, Cyan Holdings.

The agreement gives Cyan access, for the first time, to a demand creation distributor boasting customer support and fulfillment that has a global presence and the ability to secure business which might otherwise be beyond Cyan's reach.

The deal covers the semiconductor company's range of wireless metering and lighting control products. It already has products that operate in the complete range of ISM bands selected for wireless metering, demand control and wireless lighting control.

The distributor's Future Lighting Solutions business unit will be the vanguard into the market place for some of the Cyan devices.

Until now Cyan's demand creation distributors have been local or regional and include 2001 Electronic Components in the UK, Glyn in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Norway and Sweden, Matrix in Iberia and Nijkerk in Belgium and Holland.
