Moore, Oklahoma August 29th, 2009 - “Elvis in the Park” is a live concert starring local artist TJ Rhea. Opening acts will include Brittany Pelley, Ariel Faith and Mikayla Jo Balderas. Local radio personality Tracy Thomas will serve as Emcee for the event.
Bottled water will be available on site and all proceeds will go to the MDA. Food vendors may set up near the site as well
Buck Thomas Park, also known as 12th Street Park, offers multiple play areas, Multiple Baseball and football fields and a skateboard park. There will be a few covered tables for those who wish to be out of the sun. Parking will be free.
Donations for the MDA will be accepted by MDA staff members. A portion of profits from sales of T-Shirts, bottled water and food will also go to the MDA.
Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market, Right Choice Graphics, Crest Foods, Kinko’s, the Printing Center and The Gazette have donated items or contributed to the event.
