Heather Woodard
Heather Woodard, most recently of Tomball Texas, has been awarded a housing scholarship at the Arbors of Sam Houston in Huntsville, Texas. This scholarship provides housing to Ms. Woodard as long as she remains a full time student, passes her course load and gives back 4 hours a week to community service.
Ms. Woodard’s is no stranger to hardship. Her family home was destroyed in 2001 by Hurricane Allison. As a result, the family relocated to Tomball, Texas. She is currently a student at Sam Houston State and is majoring in Marketing. She hopes to be the first person in her family to earn a college degree. Ms. Woodard’s ultimate goal, after graduating, is to work for the Houston Astros as a Marketing/ Promotions representative.
