Home Matters has amassed a large inventory of Furniture and Accessory items which were purchased for the express purpose of staging homes. “For almost a year now we have been expanding our inventory to be able to supply Central Indiana Stagers with the furnishings that they need for their staging projects,” Barnett stated. In the fall of 2008 Home Matters hosted a round table event for area stagers, one of a series of such events that were held across North America. It was at that event that a majority of the areas stagers discussed their need for access to rental furnishing for vacant home staging projects, small to large, contemporary to traditional, noting that the investment to own was very prohibitive and needed a resource that was affordable. Home Matters is one of only a few Home Staging companies in the Indianapolis area to own their own inventory. “As a result of that round table event, the idea for the creation of a rental division was born” Barnett added. It is the hope of Linda and the entire Home Matters’ team to be a resource for all things staging in central Indiana.
