United Pet Care (UPC), founded in Arizona in 1996, offers a unique healthcare program for pets and pet owners alike. UPC provides pet owners the opportunity to significantly reduce the cost of escalating veterinary bills associated with well pet care (annual vaccines and exams), necessary additional procedures, and emergency care. Educated pet owners know that the best way to prevent large unanticipated veterinary expenses is through the use of preventative maintenance for their pets. As concerned pet owners, we realized that healthcare plans for pets are fast becoming a necessity in today’s economic environment. Our goal is to provide a plan that allows pet owners to receive the best care possible for their pets without straining their budgets.
Almost 70% of US households have pets (AVMA 2007 report). Therefore, it is safe to assume that many of your employees are pet owners. Most of these pet owners are not aware that our affordable pet healthcare program is available to them. Our goal is to make UPC available to your employees on a voluntary basis.
