Pookie's Bow Wow Bakery of Winter Park is having the 1st Annual Four Legged food drive August 1st from 10am to 2 pm. They are having a Dog Wash, Food, HUGE Raffle with such prizes as a LCD TV, Grill and much more. Helping sponsor the event is The Central Florida Pets Directory, Woof Orlando, Coconut Clean, Natural Balance, Gary Lambert salon and spa, Nature's Variety, Precise, Rangers outpost, Le Puparazzi & Glamour Puss. With these sponsor we hope to raise money to benefit the Central Florida Animal Pantry which was started by Zach Wilson(9 years old) and his mother Ericka Wilson. The story is that one day Zach and his mother went to a local animal shelter to look for a new member of the family and Zach saw that some of the kennels had more then one dog or cat. So he asked the person from the shelter why are there were so many animals in each cage.Her answer was that during these tought times familes cant afford to feed there family and there pets. So that night Zach told his mother he wanted to feed the dogs Ericka said we just feed the dogs, Zach said no I want to feed all the dogs. And rest is history as the say. So please come out Saturday August 1st to Pookie's in Winter Park and help support the Central Florida Animal Pantry and get your Dog washed, Nails painted or even a photo shoot.
