On Saturday, August 8th from 11am to 3pm, stop in at DWB for the Cash for Gold Party and exchange your old gold of any karat amount, in any condition, in any form (rings, earrings, watches, necklaces, charms, etc.) and especially any unwanted jewelry from an ex! Silver with 925 sterling stamp and platinum will also be exchanged for cash.
Glitzyglo’s Sarasota Representative, Mindi Rohan says, “This party is like the home parties we attend for make-up, Tupperware, or the current rage of clothing exchange. We make them fun events with refreshments and offer top dollar for metals and provide DWB with 20% of the party’s transactions. Over the past 4 years, I’ve worked with a number of the Designing Women. They’ve been my mentors and friends. I’ve learned so much from each of them and I’m really glad that I can finally give something back. They are a great organization with the most amazing volunteer base I’ve ever seen.”

Designing Women Boutique is a 501-c-3 charitable organization with the mission to meaningfully grow the funding for arts and human services through innovative marketing of unique couture apparel, fine home furnishings, and estate liquidation. To that end, in the last seven years, Designing Women Boutique has provided over $900,000 in grants to arts, endowments and human service organizations in our community.
The boutique is successful only through countless hours of local volunteers, donations and consignment merchandise. Both consignment and new merchandise are offered for sale. The boutique is located at 1226 N. Tamiami Trail at 13th Street in Sarasota, FL. Hours are 10 to 5 M-F, Sat. 10 to 4.
