Traders’ Library Presents the 2009 Chicago Options Trading Forum

July 29, 2009 - PRLog -- Traders’ Library announces a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to watch, learn, and interact with some of the sharpest minds in the trading industry. The 2009 Chicago Options Trading Forum will give 25 traders from around the world the chance to hear from options trading experts  Jim Bittman, Marty Kearney, and Peter Lusk of The Options Institute at the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). Those in attendance will learn and discuss groundbreaking options tactics that are effective in today’s and tomorrow’s markets.  

Many investors were feeling relief that second-quarter results were better than predicted, but this does not mean that stocks have reached steady bullish conditions. Now is the time to discuss volatility, along with what and how to trade in the current economic climate. While the world adjusts to new market conditions, Bittman, Kearney, and Lusk will offer 25 traders the chance to learn key techniques to help them maneuver their way to earning big profits in these types of market conditions.

Scheduled to take place August 21-22, 2009, Traders’ Library’s second Forum of the year will be held at the Online Trading Academy classroom in Chicago, IL. Nine hour-long sessions will be held during the two-day event. The Options Trading Forum is limited to only 25 attendees, offering an intimate and exclusive setting where traders can talk and ask questions face-to-face with the speakers—the trademark of a Traders’ Library event.

At this Options Trading Forum, Jim Bittman, Senior Instructor at The Options Institute, will be giving an introduction on options, as well as covering index options, and the risks and rewards of time and diagonal spreads. Marty Kearney, Senior Staff Instructor at The Options Institute, will present sessions on covered calls, credit spreads and iron condors, and ration call spread added to a long stock position. Peter Lusk, Instructor at The Options Institute, will offer a beginner session for options trading, along with discussions on trading debit spreads and volatility with VIX options and futures.
