July 29, 2009 - PRLog -- Newport Beach, CA. - If ClubDistrict.com’s pre-launch Internet traffic is any sign of its future success, then it won’t be long before ClubDistrict.com becomes the number 1 most visited nightlife website in the U.S. With its official launch just weeks away and 20 national markets within its sights; ClubDistrict.com is the one to watch.

ClubDistrict.com’s single “Coming Soon” page attracted an unprecedented amount of traffic just weeks before its official launch. According to trafficestimate.com, ClubDistrict.com received over 92K visitors in the last 30 days and continues to grow daily. Alexa.com, an Internet traffic monitor, favorably ranked ClubDistrict.com just under 90K during this same period, further validating a strong pull in Internet traffic.

According to Hans Thurau, CEO of ClubDistrict.com, much of this traffic comes from people on various social networks simply liking the concept of nightlife simplified and helping to spread that message on myspace, facebook, twitter and various other social networks. “We couldn’t believe how quick traffic was building on a daily basis”, states Mr. Thurau, “we also received hundreds of emails from people wanting to help promote ClubDistrict once it launches”.

What makes ClubDistrict.com different is this concept of nightlife simplification. ClubDistrict presents nightlife content in a simple format that doesn’t overwhelm its visitors. ClubDistrict’s nightlife content is almost entirely user generated or shared; its members basically act as content filters. Club-goers are constantly scouring the net for content that interests them, now they will be able to share that content on ClubDistrict.com with others who share the same lifestyle and interest in nightlife. Nightlife aficionados can now add ClubDistrict as their new online destination for daily doses of fresh compelling content presented by their peers.

Plugged as an industry first, the company is also launching a club photographer enterprise program. Professional club photographers simply sign-up to the program and in return for their photo journalistic contributions receive access to a business model designed around the club photography business. To help photographers get started in their business, the company gives them valuable free ad space they can either sell or use.

As aging nightlife websites continue to stack newer technologies on top of old, they become more complex and overwhelming to browse. ClubDistrict took the opposite approach by scrapping its aging nightlife platform. Mr. Thurau reveals, “Over the last year I was constantly thinking, if I could only start over again knowing what I know now. One day I decided to go for it and retired our older nightlife site PubDistrict.com in favor of a simplified version ClubDistrict.com”. What’s next? Well Mr. Thurau wasn’t able to disclose any details, but he did say what’s next in the queue will revolutionize the nightlife industry.
