PR Log (Press Release) – Jul 30, 2009 – Fabiola Calixte native of Queens, New York attended and graduated from Clark Atlanta Universty where she received a BA degree in Mass Media Arts. During that time she trained as a Model first through the John Casablanca Modeling Agency and later pursued Acting through formal training at the Barbizon Talent Agency. Ms. Calixte's versatile talents have been featured in various arenas of Entertainment: Fashion Runway, Print, Radio, Television, and Motion Pictures. She has been featured in projects for Grammy Award winning artists. Fabiola has payed her dues as an independent Actor and now looks to take on the big screen full time as a Professional. Her roles in Film and on Stage Theater has now earned her the attention of some of Hollywood's heavyweights. Fabiola is all about handling her business in an industry dominated by men who sometimes don't take a beautiful woman serious. In the upcoming months she will be reading for Actor, Hill Harper (CSI New York) for his feature film "Dawana" with as of now, Oscar nominated Actress, Viola Davis who will be playing the role of Lottie, a young girl from Harlem, New York sent by our government to observe a situation in Africa, but finds herself smack in the middle of a war torn country and having to lead the very people she was sent to observe into freedom.
