ROSWELL, NM, SEPTEMBER 11, 2009: The Roswell Elks Lodge #969 invites all Chaves County residents to attend the First Responders Memorial and Recognition Breakfast on September 11, 2009. This event will be held at the Roswell Elks Lodge #969 located at 1720 N. Montana Avenue.
The Roswell Elks Lodge #969 will honor individuals from Chaves County who have exceeded expectations in their workplace, demonstrated character that makes them stand out in their profession, and are recognized as role models among their peers The breakfast is free to all Chaves County Police, Firemen, EMS/Paramedics, Sheriffs, Red Cross, and NM State Police Officers; and $6.00 per person for the general public. The breakfast is from 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM. The Memorial service will begin at 8:00 AM followed by the award ceremony. We strongly urge everyone to attend this respectful and memorable event honoring those who keep us safe as well as all who lost their lives in the line of duty on September 11, 2001.
