Advanced Test Equipment Rentals announces availability of the new Espec SH-241

PR Log (Press Release) – Jul 28, 2009 – Advanced Test Equipment is proud to announce the latest product added to our vast inventory: the new SH-241 Bench-top Temperature & Humidity Chamber from Espec. This lightweight chamber is small enough to be placed underneath or atop a bench. Not only can this model achieve superb performance in a compact size, but it attains temperatures as low as -40C, with capacity of 22.5L and humidity range of 30-95%. Not only does the SH-241 provide high performance and advanced features, but it offers new capabilities for integration with Espec’s E-PILOT 21 information network system.  It is useful for centralized control and data processing, all while operating chamber control and specimen measurement.

The environmentally-friendly SH-241 also offers the exclusive newly developed refrigeration system, which saves up to 55% energy consumption compared to previous Espec models. The HFC refrigerant used is completely safe for the ozone layer, making this model safe for the environment.

This easy to use temperature and humidity chamber also features cable ports for running in wires, a cartridge tank for easy water supply, a viewing window for observation and a flexible computer interface, with RS-485 communication port standard. The SH-241 also offers many safety features including an overheat protector, humidifier boil-dry protector, specimen power supply control terminal and a main power circuit breaker.
