The Power of Gospel Ministries Presents The Power of GospelFest 2009

On Saturday, August 1, 2009, Jersey City, New Jersey's Arlington Park will set the stage for a day of Gospel music, Liturgical dancers, local vendors and much more for the annual Power of GospelFest. This year's fete will be extra special for the Jersey City community as The Power of Gospel Ministries will be calling for a Power Prayer in response to the negative forces that have plagued Jersey City. Jersey City law enforcement and local politicians are invited to the prayer to share their commitment to healing the city.
Free to the public, the Power of GospelFest 2009 is Hosted by Power of Gospel radio hosts Elder Nicole Simpson, CFP and VJ Jesman with Pastor Vincent Thomas and Former Total lead singer, Pamela Long.
This promises to be a day of love, community spirit and sharing the Good News of God. The annual event brings together the community in an effort to solidify and enhance the labors of the Power of Gospel Ministries to reach the community in praise and worship. From 1:30pm to 1:45pm will be dedicated to praying for the fallen police officers, innocent murdered victims and cleansing of local government offices and the tolerance of all people of Jersey City, NJ.
The one day event offers free music from Gospel recording artists Charmaine Rudd, Conrad Miller, Yolanda Watson, Darion Ja'Von; Hip Hop Inspirational artists Paradox, W.H.A.T., Bobby Crank, Marshia Parris, Min Wes E, ISH, and Wayne; Spoken Word artist, Jai Simone; R&B Gospel sensation Julius Petty, the Bethesda Praise Dancers and 2009 Stellar Award Nominee, Nancey Jackson-Johnson.
August 1, 2009 will be a day that the community can come together in peace and love to give praise and to worship as one unit for one common goal, says Power of Gospel radio host and organizer of the event, Elder Nicole B. Simpson, CFP.
