Lady Kinnks is the creator of kinnks.com, the first and only website dedicated to linking the World Wide Web's natural hair resources in one location. When Lady decided to go natural in 2001 there were very few resources online. After being exposed to books like, “Nappily Ever After” by Trisha R. Thomas and artist India Arie, Lady could not figure out why she was so ashamed of her short nappy hair.
After lots of bad hair days, and long nights reading and researching hair, Lady Kinnks finally learned how to manage her mane. Quickly after learning to love her hair, she achieved health and growth. Lady prides herself in teaching the lesson that hair potential is achieved through love of yourself, even perceived flaws. Once this lesson is mastered, success will quickly translate into all outlets of life, not just hair.
