Bland, Garvey, Eads, Medlock + Deppe, PC (BGEM+D) has been honored as one of the 2009 Best Places to Work by The Dalla Business Journal. This is the third award for BGEM+D. In 2008 the firm was awarded one of the Best Accounting Firms to Work For in the U.S. by Accounting Today. In 2004 the firm was awarded the North Texas' Best Family-Friendly Company by Dallas Child magazine.
The rankings were announced at an awards luncheon on September 17, 2009. Companies are organized into three categories:
Small (10-99 North Texas employees)
Medium (100-499 North Texas employes)
Large (500 or more North Texas employees)
Winning companies were determined by the aggregate score of employee surveys, administered by independent research firm, Quantum Workplace. Companies that achieved best-practice scores were selected as the Dallas Business Journal's Best Places to Work. The best practice scores meet national industry standards and vary by company size.
