Celtic Campervans.com: Your Online Resource for Planning a Self-Drive Holiday in Ireland

Celtic Campervans is more than the premier company for motorhome rental in Ireland, it is also the go-to company for help planning your Irish self-drive holiday.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)Jul 27, 2009 – CelticCampervans.com has a wealth of useful tips and information on where to go and what to see among the massive variety of attractions and beauty spots which Ireland has to offer.

Camper hire in Ireland is a hugely popular way to see the country, and Celtic Campervans has been spearheading this method of travel for over three decades. Offering freedom and flexibility that few other types of holiday can match, campervan rental in Ireland has become a favourite way to explore the Emerald Isle for families, gap-year travellers, honeymooners and festival-goers alike.

The self-drive holiday in Ireland page on CelticCampervans.com helps you plan your trip; particularly helpful when faced with the multitude of options Ireland offers the holiday-maker or traveller. Choose from famous sights such as the Blarney stone and the Giant’s Causeway, natural beauty spots like the Cliffs of Moher and The Ring of Kerry, or a tour of the cultural delights, from art galleries and museums to culinary hotspots. There are so many sides of Ireland to enjoy, far more than its relatively diminutive size would suggest: the Ireland of rich history; the Ireland of breathtaking natural beauty; the Ireland of tradition and folklore; the Ireland of cosmopolitan culture; the Ireland of epicurean delights.

It was Ireland’s tourism that was of primary interest to two of Celtic Campervans’ latest customers to book a self-drive holiday. RTÉ’s Radio 1 Morning Ireland programme sent two reporters – John Murray and Cian McCormack – on a tour of Ireland in a 2-6 berth Celtic Campervan to report on the current state of tourism. On their first day, before setting off to Tramore in County Waterford, John and Cian spoke to Stephen Bradshaw, Managing Director of Celtic Campervans, who showed them round their spacious motorhome equipped with all the mod cons. The reporters went on to ask Stephen how Celtic

Campervans were finding this season to be shaping up given the reported drop in tourism. Stephen explained that although the season was more unpredictable than in previous years, with job uncertainty meaning fewer people were planning ahead for their holiday then before, Celtic Campervans were still seeing a very healthy number of bookings. It certainly seems that self-drive holidays in Ireland, especially in campervans, are still just as popular as ever and bookings in this area don’t reflect any reported drop in tourism.

When you take a Celtic Campervan around Ireland, the only limitation is your imagination. Get started by stoking your inspiration at CelticCampervans.com, and ask yourself: what side of Ireland do you want to experience? For inspiration, a wealth of information and seasonal offers, visit www.celticcampervans.com.
