Hyundai will pay the difference between actual gas price at pump and $1.49.The consumer can opt to purchase mid-range gasoline for $1.64 per gallon, or premium gas for $1.79 per gallon as well.

Hyundai also announces cash back offers on select 2009 Hyundai models. You can buy a 2009 Sonata and receive $2000 as cash back. With the purchase of Elantra and Santa FE you can get $1000 each as cash back. The Hyundai special offer extends to 2009 Accent and Elantra Touring and both the models get additional cash back of $500 each with this gas price lock offer.
