Cyprus Launches Open Doors Policy for Foreign Investors-
Trade Bridge for Middle East Investors Connects Cyprus and Beirut

New Initiatives by the government of Cyprus may well benefit the islands economy through foreign investment stimulus as a result of allowing non-Europeans the right to obtain a permanent residency visa when acquiring property on the island.
World Class Group, a Beirut based marketing and communications consultant, with offices in Dubai and Malta has affirmed that the Middle East will be the next frontier for new investment for Cyprus, an island who will be at the helm of the EU presidency in 2012.
World Class  have become bullish on Cyprus property and investment opportunities due to its close proximity to the Oil rich nations and the fact that it is the closest gateway to the European Union.
Cyprus enjoys more than just some of the best year round weather in the Mediterranean, its visionary leaders have also ensured it remains one of the most attractive territories for corporate tax, making it an ideal trading zone for International commerce. Areas such as Polis and Paphos offer stunning new Marina and Golf lifestyles, while Larnaca, Limassol and Nicosia remain commercial trade centres with boutique resorts and quality residences.
Aya Napa and Protaras touristic centers also remain some of the favorite investment targets for rental income properties.
World Class has packaged  an exhibition of investment opportunities in Cyprus which will debut in Beirut, Lebanon in August, with an aim to attract some of the visiting Arab nationals to Cyprus, a 25 minute flight from the capital.

The Cyprus Property Exhibition Centre, CPEC, will showcase the advantages of investing in Cyprus to this target audience, and will promote the islands new Open Doors policy in collaboration with My Property Cyprus, a leading real estate advisory group.
“Visitors to the CPEC will be exposed to advantages in setting up a company in Cyprus, Investment opportunities from energy Projects to Theme parks, Hotels for sale and development, real estate and fractional ownership offers”, says Michael J. Tolan, CEO of World Class Group.
An estimated 500,000 tourists from the Gulf are already booked during August in Lebanese hotels, Villas and Apartment complexes. Lebanon has the mountains and cool weather that adds to its attraction for Gulf residents, and is at most a   few hours flight to most Arab population centres.
Lebanon has historically attracted residents from Saudi, Kuwait, Dubai and the GCC to its opulent hotels, beaches, and restaurants and mountain retreats.
Beirut will create a trade bridge to this region, and with initiatives like the CPEC, and the ‘GCC – Cyprus Friendship Committee’ launched by World Class Group, “prosperity in the region could recognize why Cyprus has been named the Island of Smiles and why Cyprus now means business” added Tolan.
