Write On! School Supply Drive
Kirt Hale (educator) and Michael Sola Lambert (event planner) have organized the "Write On! School Supply Drive" to aid Clayton County teachers and provide school supplies for their schools from August 6 - September 5 in hopes to raise enough school supplies for over 100 classrooms in Clayton County. The Write On! School Supply Drive kicks off August 6, 2009 at The Mark Ultra Lounge. "We believe every child deserves a level playing field in education. Unfortunately those who are doing the teaching in Clayton County have been hit with an obstacle that can curb their enthusiasm and force them to purchase classroom supplies out of their pocket. Let's keep our teachers enthused and our students engaged." says Michael Lambert.
The Write On! School Supply Drive will be highly visible at multiple events in and around Metro Atlanta for one common cause, to aid teaches in Clayton County with school supplies so they can focus on what's important; teaching our children.
