“This project is inspired by the birth of Lauren Steel,” says Christy, “her father has MS, and despite this challenge, he and his wife have chosen to bring a new life into this world. I can’t think of a more fearless challenge or worthy cause.” Lauren was still in utero when Christy began her planning, and was born on July 2nd, 2009.
Among those making the jump is LCpl Stephen Luchini USMC. Luchini is the most recent to join the group, using his personal time to support a noble cause.
If you are near Lake Elsinore on the 25th, look up at the skies. If you see a small dot rapidly approaching the ground, you are seeing the end of a journey. This team has worked together to raise over $5,000 for research to end life-changing illnesses. You are seeing a community hero – a shooting star.
