FiberXtend is the name of the new series that will allow system architects and digital signage professionals the flexibility of fiber optics in the extension of high-definition video and stunning stereo audio. Fiber optics is the leading technology on the forefront of digital signal transmission around the world, used for everything from Internet broadband to A/V signal handling for concerts, multimedia displays and the like.

SmartAVI, Inc. plans to release the first unit within its FiberXtend product line this week.
In addition to the standard FiberXtend products, SmartAVI has also begun manufacturing a “Premium” category of fiber extension products that will compliment the current line while taking the quality and extension lengths to the industrial level.
