According to the author of a new website, Post-Tribulation.info, there is a possibility that the beginnings, of what is now a multi-million dollar industry, had its start in the occult almost 180 years ago. Is there a cover-up? Are there those that are trying to hide its origin?
According to best selling Author, Dave MacPherson, "Incredible Cover Up", and numerous other biblical teachers, some theologians and prophecy teachers are, at the least deceived, to some blatantly lying and trying to hide the origin of the Pre-Tribulation "Left Behind" Rapture.
What use to be taught among evangelicals in their church meetings was thrust into the mainstream media with the best selling fictional series, "Left Behind", by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins. The movie by the same title, produced by Cloud Ten Pictures, combined with book sales, made the word "Rapture" a household name, even among those who are not believers.
According to Christianity Today Magazine, within the first month of "Left Behind: The Movie's" release, it had earned more than $4 million in sales. Tim LaHaye, co-author of "Left Behind" book series, was not satisfied with the sales and sued Namesake Entertainment and Cloud Ten Pictures in 1999 for breach of contract." Apparently, Mr. LaHaye had expected it to be a Hollywood blowout and a multi-million dollar hit.
The majority of evangelicals today paint a picture of an easy Christian life on earth and then they get carted off to heaven right when things get bad on earth. Not only does this sound good to most Christians today, it makes for good book sales and TV.
What would make those that are trusted to teach us the truth, knowing what they are teaching is a lie, cover up such a thing? That is an easy answer. Money!
There is good news in all this. The truth is being taught, lives being changed and the lie exposed by numerous websites, Ministers and concerned Christian's that are tired of the corruption in organized religion. Post-Tribulation.info invites you to visit their site and discover and discuss the truth. Everyone is welcome.
